My name is Núria, I was born in Spain. From an early age I grew up surrounded by my mother's love of books, my grandfather's passion for painting and an old piano that belonged to my great-grandfather. And then the urge to create and to exploit my creativity began. Painting, drawing, writing, acting. At the age of 7, I discovered jewelry as a profession, at a fair, and that's when I started preaching that I wanted to be a jeweler. And now I see myself here as much more than that.

I am a multidisciplinary artist, who takes advantage of any excuse to create and release my full potential.

A few years ago I was recommended a book that would make me rethink all my work and understand myself better as an artist. In Praise of Shadows, by Jun'ichirō Tanizaki, was a before and after. Since then I have defined myself as an artist and now, for the first time, I want to share here my journey and my art.

Statement

Yasei is my way of expressing how I feel and how I see the world around me. I base all my projects on the Japanese aesthetic of Wabi-sabi, which believes in the acceptance of imperfections and finite things. Every little mistake tells a story, every anomaly has a background.

Everything that is perfect lacks value.

This is why every project I do is unique and unrepeatable. Each piece is handcrafted one by one, without molds, making an exact replica of any of the pieces impossible.
